This loot generator was written by myself while I was trying to teach myself python. It's written badly but there are no bugs (that I know of) and it works as intended. It's written in python and the .csv and .txt files can be added to if you want to add your own loot. Just run the .exe file for it to run (in windows!). It's also good for any other fantacy RPG, or you can create your own csv and txt files for a modern RPG you are running. -

Syalphale is a rouge-like that bases it's the enemies in each level on the files that you have. For example if you have "log.txt", "A_history_of_cheese", and "cat.jpg" in your home folder then you will find enemies named "log.txt", "A_history_of_cheese", and "cat.jpg" in that folder. The type of the enemy is based on the first letter of that file's name. Thus you will an "l", "A", and a "c" type enemy on your home folder level. -

...The setting is Faerun's underdark with a twist. The engine is roughly based on Ultima 6. In Assassin of the Underdark, you take a custom player character through the underdark. RPG elements are included in the form of weaponry, items, and spells. There are scripts to print Python character files, resource management, and a widget system. A plugins directory is loaded at program start or later on at your option, and there's a Python shell window widget for testing out scripts. -

Isometric Turn-Based Strategy
A turn-based strategy game in the spirit of Tactics Ogre
The end-goal is a deep, complex tactical turn-based RPG. The main inspirations are the Final Fantasy Tactics series and Tactics Ogre, with plenty of room for innovation. Currently, we are implementing weapons, items, and spells into the battle framework, and soon to come will be the core RPG mechanics, AI, and self-contained missions. The game is being coded in C++ using SDL.
